BMW R80 GS & R100 GS conversion parts Scrambler & Enduro

The BMW R80 G/S invented the adventure touring motorcycle in 1980 – the R80 GS and R100 GS perfected it with the Paralever. Today, the GS is the most authentic foundation for a true scrambler. You can find the right conversion parts here.

Guide

The BMW GS rebuild

The GS as a scrambler base

Long suspension travel, cross-spoke wheels, robust engine: the GS comes from the factory with many features that other boxers only get after a scrambler conversion. This is why it is considered the most authentic base for scramblers and lightweight adventure enduros.

FAQ

Questions about BMW R80 GS & R100 GS

Can't find your question? Use our parts inquiry form – we will respond personally.

Is the GS better for a scrambler than an R80 or R100?

For an off-road capable scrambler, yes: the GS offers longer suspension travel and robust spoked wheels. Those who just want the scrambler look for the road can also convert an R80 or R100.

Do GS parts fit Monolever and Paralever models?

Nicht alle. Heck- und Fahrwerksteile unterscheiden sich zwischen G/S (Monolever) und GS (Paralever). In den Produkttiteln steht jeweils, für welche Ausführung das Teil passt.

Are the GS conversion parts eligible for registration?

Viele Teile werden mit TÜV-Gutachten oder ABE geliefert. Bei individuellen Umbauten begleiten wir dich bis zur Eintragung.

Do you also build complete GS scramblers?

Yes. Take a look at our GS Custom Bikes or contact us directly via our contact page.
