It is mounted directly under the gearbox, thereby lowering the center of gravity. A clear view through the frame triangle gives the BMW a lean appearance. The battery box is designed to hold our HJP14 or HJP18 lithium-ion batteries, or the HJTX20 for vehicles with more extensive electrical equipment. All batteries handle the job with ease, even with high compression. The batteries weigh 1000g and 1100g respectively. The weight savings amount to over 10 kg! A lithium-ion battery can withstand six times the number of charge cycles compared to a conventional battery. The self-discharge rate is only 5 percent per month. A worthwhile investment in the long run. \u003cbr\/\u003eThe battery box is perfectly suited for both the original rear end and any custom rear conversion.
